Adidas new logo strengthened it's popularity among fans

Seen on its Jerseys and other sports wear, the famous three parallel lines are easily the most high profile of all the Adidas Logos. In line with its policy of trying to continuously ‘strengthen its brand’, the Adidas old logo, the Trefoil (pot leaf) logo of the 1980s, had a make over to its new Adidas logo - Performance (triangle) logo.

The new Adidas logo strengthened its image as a performance Adidas logo and improved the competitive and financial position of the company. The new Adidas logo started to be associated with its line of Adidas clothing, sports equipment, football equipment, jersey, apparel, and soccer uniforms.

The Adidas old logo has been completely overhauled by the new Adidas logo, which is now proudly associated with NFL, soccer, baseball, hockey, basketball and American and Rugby football. Its football has been selected as the ‘ball of the UEFA champions League 2005/2006’.

With the introduction of the new Adidas logo, its brand really started to shine again, not only as a sports equipment brand, but as also reaching a fashion dimension. The new Adidas logo is seen on a range of Adidas clothing and apparel patronized by the Gen X.
